Lilith Hasbeck

Service designer and graphic designer.
Welcome to my portfolio.

About me

Hello! I am currently a postgraduate service design student at The Royal College of Art. I have a background in visual communication (graphic design) and co-design, and my last job was with MindLab; a cross-governmental innovation lab in Copenhagen, where I worked primarily with graphic design and visual communication for policy design and service design projects.

Through my time of study, I have come to understand that the still developing field of service design encompasses many of the things that I value the most about design. Building design cases on a holistic understanding of people and relationships is to me the most important aspect of service design. I find its interdisciplinary nature and the mix of business and creativity very inspiring. I have experienced how designers can help interaction, collaboration, or co-creation along, and I most certainly feel that designers have a role in the future of designing not only things but intangibles – such as services. Within the field of service design, I am especially interested in design for public services or public problems. The public sector faces great challenges, and I aim to be able to take part in shaping the future of these services.

As a designer, I value leaving the desk to explore new contexts and meet new people. I thrive when people expect the most of me and when I can exchange knowledge and collaborate with people; preferably in an interdisciplinary setting.

I'm sorry, I'm currently working on updating my portfolio.

It will be online soon, promise.
But for now, you can visit my old site.
